Before your wedding day you will certainly have gazillion things on your to-do-list, but your wedding cars (your means of transportation to and from the wedding venue) should not be at the bottom of your list.
There will be a lot of things on your mind before the wedding day (especially if you are one of those people who do not believe in hiring a wedding planner), but keep this at the back of your mind “I will not walk to my wedding venue so I have to remember to get the wedding cars ready before the wedding dayâ€- that’s not too hard to remember.
Tips for your wedding transportation
1) The Best Time to Start Looking for a Wedding Car Service
The most reasonable time to start looking for a wedding car service is 12 months before your wedding date; this is done in order to ensure that the vehicle you have chosen will be available. If you are planning to get married very quickly, then you should start looking for a wedding car service as soon as you possibly can, because a lot of wedding car services will be booked through the end of the year, which is why you have to hurry so that you will not end up with the crappiest wedding cars.
2) Call A week Ahead in Oder to Confirm the Date & Time
They is nothing worse than having your car arrive late to pick you up on your wedding day (disappearance of the groom and calling another woman’s name instead of yours aside). Ensure that you call the wedding car company service a week ahead in order to give them a detailed description to your house, hotel, church, reception etc. Fax maps or map printouts if you have to! So that there wouldn’t be any excuses. The wedding car service will either call you from the car or their office in order to inform you that they are on their way with your wedding cars.
3) Planning the Schedule
Everyone believes that the bride is supposed to be late but for Pete’s sake be fashionable late! Planning a schedule is a smart idea. Plan to arrive at the wedding venue a couple of minutes before the scheduled service time (say, 5 minutes). By the time the service starts, the cars would have been parked, your nerves would have settled down, photos of everyone getting out of the car one after the other would have been taken, your dress would have been properly arranged and the bridal train will be lined up at the end of the aisle ready to go go go!
4) Before getting into any one of the Wedding Cars
Make sure you eat or drink stuffs that will not leave a stain in the car because you do not want to pay additional fees for cleaning services. Be sure to talk to members of your family about not allowing anyone to write or damage anything in the cars that you have hired – you won’t believe how mischievous adults can get.
